Enough is enough! stop the Attacks!
There was a time to protect our daughters only but now also our elderly women, Stand up and raise your voice and say "Enough is enough"
Public Dharna - Ahmedabad was organised in Ahmedabad on 20-03-2015 to stop attacks on women, minorities,adivasi,dalits,farmers,poor and other vulnerable sections. thousands and thousands flocked with masks and black ribbon and black and white clothes.
It was organised by Gujarat United Christian Forum for Human Rights (GUCFHR) and supported by several like minded individuals and groups, which include Peoples' Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), Movement for Secular Democracy (MSD), Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP), ANHAD, SANCHETNA, SAHR WARU, Darshan, INSAF, Ahmesabad Women Action Group (AWAG) SAFAR, Jan Sangharsh Manch (JSM)

A memorable event indeed ! We were surely not expecting such massive crowds but they came in from all over Gujarat from every walk of society from every religious tradition and ideology ! The speakers were all terrific ! They were able to motivate the massive crowds ! "ENOUGH is ENOUGH" WE ARE CITIZENS OF INDIA AND WE DEMAND THAT OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS ARE RESPECTED ! WE WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE A STAND FOR THE WOMEN, THE POOR, THE DEPRIVED AND THE MARGINALIZED OF OUR COUNTRY....now for the next steps !

The Dharana at Lal Darwaja, Ahmedabad was very well organized. Many congratulations to Fr Cedric Prakash for his efforts and mobilization. All the speakers spoke well.
