"CHILD FRIENDLY CITIES" by YaR and Snehalaya



Don Bosco Snehalaya : A Home for the YOUNG at RISK and A Home away from HOME. It works since 2001 for the Holistic Development and Rehabilitation of the children, who are in need of care and protection. Don Bosco Snehalaya provides all kinds of basic and necessary facilities and services besides shelter, food and clothing to the young at risk. Don Bosco Snehalaya is a part of the national Network known as Don Bosco National Forum for the Young at Risk (YaR Forum)

YaR Forum is a region-wide network of organizations - in India, runs by Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB). The network has been
Officially registered with the government of India since 2002. YaR Forum office is situated at Delhi.


Don Bosco Snehalaya and "YaR Forum has initiated towards a new concept, "CHILD FRIENDLY CITIES" and therefore there was a meeting for discussion organized at Snehalaya - Baroda on 30-10-2015. The motto of the meeting was to bring the bright and happy future of all the children of our city, to move forward towards the welfare and safety of the children of our city and can set an ideal example for other cities and state too.
