An intervew with Sr. Lucy Columban - St.Anne’s school Deesa

St.Anne’s school Deesa shared Christmas joy with the students and parents on 23rd December-2013.There are 2300 students in the school & majority of them are non Christians. School celebrates all the festivals. But Christmas is something different than other feasts. Students and staff all participated in the Christmas card competition, Crib competition, Christmas tree decoration competition and Rangoli competition. After that there was a cultural program conducted by teachers and students. All of them who were present over there enjoyed and experienced the joy, happiness, love and peace of Christ through different activities and competitions.Their hearts were really filled up with the love of baby Jesus.The principal of St.Anne’s school, Sr. Lucy Columban wanted to share the joy of the birth of baby Jesus not only with the students but also with the neighboring slum and in order to spread the love, joy and happiness among the poor the students, staff & all the parents celebrated Christmas with them in the afternoon.The students were collecting the house hold things for the poor before one month ago. And they distributed the things like clothes, grains, vegetables and other necessary things to all the needy people.The students, sisters and teachers were very happy to share the joy of Christmas. All experienced That God is love and He lives among us and so we share our lives with whom we live and where we are.
