There was a Bhajan Mandali competition for Petlad Deanery on 18th December 2010 at 1.30 PM in Mariampura-Petlad. This competition has been conducted every year in Amod this year changed to Petlad. There were six team from women and three teams from men finally the judges Fr.Paresh, Fr.Rajkumar and Sr.Meena of Vadtal were judges who awarded Khambhat men as first and Amod men as second it was the same
Fr.Paresh in his speech mentioned that he is over joyed by seeing 30 years women to 82 year old women could take part at the same time keeping up the cultural heritage. But I am happy and trying to keep up the spirit of people because of the faith formation that we could give through this cultural uniqueness.
