50 Golden years of Committed life in the vineyard of the Lord!

It was 13th of July, 2014 Sr. Antoinette celebrated her Golden Jubilee of religious profession. Prior to it she has given ample time to prepare herself for this event. The celebration was at Dediapada. The jubilarian led to the altar by the beautiful entrance dance performed by the boarding children. The main celebrant was Fr. John Lobo accompanied by many priests. During the mass Sr. Antoinette renewed her vows and it was followed by a touching homily. Sr. Antoinette gave witness of her life saying her motto right from the beginning of her religious life had been to follow the paschal mystery and truly it has been. She has spent long years in the apostolate of education in Junagadh, where she had to undergo a lot of suffering due to the various problems created by students & parents. But she remained firm and nothing deterred her. After her retirement as a principal she continues her mission with the same spirit taking care of the boarding children.
Soon after the mass there was felicitation and it was followed by meal to everyone. Later the boarding children presented a beautiful program and showered on her flowers and gifts. We, the Carmelite Missionaries thank the Lord for the gift of this great missionary. May God bless her abundantly.
