1)Youth Day In Vadtal
Sacred Heart youth Vadtal, had a grand YOUTH DAY celebration. It began with a mass at 8.am. The theme for the day was, Responsibility of youth towards church and family. Fr. Lawrence was the resource person for the day.
During mass Fr. Lawrence told youth to make choice in their life. He asked them to choose Jesus in their life that continuously supports and help to take up responsibility, towards church and family.

During the session he elaborated the theme with captions like; RISE AND SHINE, TO BECOME FRIENDS OF JESUS, TO BUILD A COMMUNITY OF FAITH AND TO BRING UNITY IN THEIR RESPECTIVE VILLAGES. That they need to carry on the work of the church, saying that, they are the church. Now is the time for them to spread the gospel by their very self and also with respect to their parents, elders and by being example to their brothers and sisters.
After the session they were given six questions to discuss in groups. They were divided in seven groups. Following are the questions:
1- How to proclaim the gospel?
2- What are their talents?
3- How to make use of their talents?
4- What can be done to bring unity in their villages?
5- How can they make village youth groups active?
6- To Show belongingness to the parish?
They all came up with practical answers which they promised to do in their villages.
After the lunch Fr. Avinash the Nadiad deanery youth coordinator encouraged and motivated youth to take up responsibility and to be obedient to parents and elders.
For the cultural activity they were given different topics, like; family, Education, responsibility, Society, Church etc. all of them prepared skirts and came up with fantastic performance with lots of talents, without forgetting the topic given to them. It was really great.
Finally Fr. Paresh the youth director of the Diocese spoke few words of encouragement and motivation after which they had two dances, youth song, vote of thanks which was proposed by youth president of the parish. Lastly they had national song and concluded with national anthem. All went home happily with a cup of tea.

2) Umreth Deanery organizes youth day at Balasinor.
The youth day for the Umreth Deanery of Ahmedabad diocese was organized at Karuna Niketan Parish, Balasinor on 13th February 2011.
Frs. Peter and Titus were hosting this programme in the parish for the denary. Seventy five youth from seven parishes were present. The programme began at 10.30 a.m. with an inauguration function with lighting the lamp and prayer dance by the balasinor youth.Mrs. Indu the active parishner and teacher of Nirmala Niketan School, Balasinor was the chief guest of the day. Fr. Titus gave the key note address for the youth in which he insisted on having aim in life. Fr. Parish the diocesan youth director was the main resource person who spoke on two important aspect in youngster’s life namely; obey your parents and I can do all things possible because Christ is the one who strengthens me. After a sumptuous meal, Fr. Mayank facilitated the youngsters in drawing up the plan for their parish youth activities. It ended with cultural programme with talent show competitions. Youngsters took part with enthusiasm and took away prizes for best singing and dancing.
Four parish priests and six nuns were present right through the programme. Fr. Titus thanked all for making this day an enjoyable for everyone. All went away with a sense of content and satisfaction.
