ભૂમેલ ગામમાં જીવતું ગભાણ દરેક વર્ષે ભવ્ય ડાન્સ ગરબા અને સરઘસ સાથે કાઢવામાં આવે છે. આ સરઘસમાં દરેક ગામના લોકોને બાળ ઇસુના જન્મની અને નવા વર્ષની શુભેચ્છાઓ પાઠવવામાં આવે છે.


ગામની વચ્ચે એક ચબુતરી આવેલ છે ત્યાં સરઘસ જોવા માટે દરેક કોમના લોકો ભેગા મળીને શુભેચ્છાઓની આપ-લે કરે છે. આ વર્ષે પણ આ સુંદર પળો બાદ ત્યાંજ શુભસંદેશનું વાંચન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું અને ત્યારબાદ કોમી એકતાને વધુ મજબુત બનાવવા માટે અને ગામના વિકાસ માટે ફા. વિનાયકે દરેકને સંબોધીને શુભેચ્છાઓ પાઠવી હતી.( Gospel reading and then Fr. ભૂમેલ ગામના ખ્રિસ્તી શ્રધાળુઓનો રીવાજ બનેલ બુઢા દહન (એટલે કે એક પુતળું બનાવીને જુના વર્ષના વેરઝેર, ઈર્ષા, ભેદભાવ અને એકબીજા માટે ચાલતા કાળા વિચારો ને બાળીને રાખ કરવા) તેનું બરાબર ગામ મધ્યે દારૂખાનું રાખીને માનનીય ફા. રાજ દ્વારા બાળવામાં આવ્યું હતું .(Burning the Old man home made statue to say Good Bye to year 2010 by Fr. આ પ્રસંગે કેથોલિક બહેનો દ્વારા ઈસુના જન્મની વધામણી અને નવા વર્ષની શુભ કામનાઓ સર્વ ગ્રામજનોને આપવામાં આવી હતી. આમ આખા ગામની મુલાકાત લઇને આશરે ત્રણ કલાક બાદ સરઘસ પાછુ દેવળમાં આવ્યું હતું અને ત્યાં યુવાનો દ્વારા નાગીન ડાન્સ કરી મનોરંજન પીરસ્યું હતું . આ સરઘસ બાદ નવા વર્ષની શુભકામનાઓની સાથે લોકો એકબીજાને ચા પીવા બોલાવીને નવા ને પ્રેમાળ સબંધોની દુનિયા તરફ જવાનો ઉત્તમ દાખલો રજુ કર્યો હતો.

Christmas was celebrated with many programmes like big crib with sound and light. live crib prepared by children, fun fair and Dance(Garba) party and the New Year procession with live crib in the village for wishing all villagers. At the main market Gospel was read during the procession and there Fr. Vinayak addressed all Hindus, Muslims ect. to live community life and work together for the progress of the village.

Fr. Raj burnt the statue old man to say good bye to 2010 and to forgive and forget and go ahead towards year 2011.
