Release Of DOOT Centenary Commemorative Postage Stamp

The Department Of Post(Philately Division) Government of India released nationwide yesterday a Commemorative postage stamp of RS.5 denomination in honour of the DOOT centenary year.



The DOOT Centenary commemorative postage stamp release yesterday on 15-Jan-2011 at Loyola Hall, Ahmedabad,Gujarat. It was released by Honorable Smt. Humera Ahmed(Chief Post Master General of Gujarat) and our Rev. Bishop Thoamas Macwan (Ahmedabd Dio.) There were many people gathered at the function including department of post.




The DOOT stamp was also released in Raj Bhavan by the Governor Of Gujarat DR. Smt. Kamla. Fr. Vinayak explained the history of DOOT to the Gujarat Governor.Please click the given video to watch the programme at Raj Bhavan, Ghandhinagar.




આ ઐતિહાસિક સિદ્ધિ મેળવવા માટે દૂતના માનદ તંત્રી ફા. વિનાયક અને તેમની સતત કાર્યરત રહેનાર ટીમ અને ગુજરાત સાહિત્ય પ્રકાશનો અને ખાસ કરીને ફા સેડ્રિક પ્રકાશનો ઉત્તમ ફાળો રહેલો છે.
