કમિશન ફોર મીડિયા એન્ડ સોશ્યલ કમ્યુનિકેશન, આર્ચડાયોસીસ ગાંધીનગર આયોજીત "સાપ્રંત સમયમાં માધ્યમોની જાગૃત ભૂમિકા" વિષયક એક દિવસીય પરિસવાંદનું આયોજન તા. ૫-સપ્ટેમ્બર-૨૦૧૦ ના રોજ જીવન વિકાસ કેન્દ્ર પેથાપુરમાં કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું જેમાં અધ્યક્ષ સ્થાને રેવ . આર્ચ બિશપ સ્ટેની ફર્નાન્ડીઝ. આર્ચ ડાયોસીસ ઓફ ગાંધીનગર તથા અતિથી વિશેષ સ્થાન ડો. શ્રી પ્રદીપભાઈ આઝાદ તથા જાણીતા અને અન્ય માધ્યમોમાં સંકળાયેલા ૪૧ લોકોએ સક્રિય ભાગ લીધો હતો.

આ પરિસવાંદમાં વિદ્વાન તજજ્ઞો ફાધર અશોક વાઘેલા એસ.જે. (ગુર્જરવાણી ડિરેક્ટર).શ્રી નવીનભાઈ મેકવાન (તંત્રી શ્રી, કેથોલિક સમાચાર), ફાધર વર્ગીસ પોલ એસ.જે. (વરિષ્ઠ પત્રકાર અને લેખક) અને ફાધર વિનાયક જાદવ એસ.જે. (પ્રાધ્યાપક સેન્ટ ઝેવિયર્સ કોલેજ અને માનદ તંત્રીશ્રી, દૂત માસિક) વક્તવ્ય આપ્યા હતા.

આ કાર્યક્રમ સફળ બનાવવાનો શ્રેય આર્ચ ડાયોસીસ ઓફ ગાંધીનગરની ટીમ અને ખાસ કરીને હસમુખભાઈ મેકવાનને જાય છે

Commission For Media And Social Communication Ghandhinagar,Gujarat conducted a media seminar on 5-09-2010. It was to bring positive awareness for writing to publications and daily news paper. There were 41 well known people including Arch Bishop Stanislaus Fernandes (Ghandhinagar)and Dr.Pradip Azad as a guest gathered for the Media Seminar.

Fr.Ashok Vaghela S.J.(Guarjarvani Director),Mr.Navin Macwan(Catholic Samachar),Fr.Vargis Paul S.J.(Well known Reporter and writer) and Fr. Vinayak Jadav S.J.(Professor in St.Xavier's College,Ahemadabad) who all gave the various examples of today's media and provided directions to go for positive writings. Please click the video.
