COMPANION_A new fortnightly

COMPANION is a new fortnightly for Christian leaders. It seeks the collaboration of all people of goodwill. COMPANION strives:

• To foster an authentic, integrated Catholic Christian living.

• to contribute to understanding, appreciating and thus uniting a Church that is much divided by rites, regions, languages, cultures, castes, classes etc.

•to make theology and the teachings of the Church comprehensible and relevant to our times.

•Help Catholic Christians to live their Christian life authentically in the socio-cultural and political realities of the day.
Behind this endeavor is a core group of persons: laity, religious and priests from various regions, congregations and dioceses in the Editorial Board. Presently it is edited and published by Fr Jacob Naluparayil MCBS. The Kochi office is assisted by a others from all over India.

Companion has the support of theologians, journalists and other experts from the Catholic community in India. Probably it is the first time that a semi-professional magazine has been brought out in the Indian church, with expertise to back up.
For teenagers and youth COMPANION can be an excellent means of faith education and for adults, an on-going faith education manual.Indian Church

As a LEADER in the Indian Church, I hope you will collaborate and support this venture. It can become your space to voice concerns for and about the Church, our country and our people. Without taking any sides, the fortnightly hopes to speak up for unity in the Church.

Annual subscription (24 copies) : Rs.350
